With the first coach purchased back in 1929, we have now been operating coaches for over 70 years.We have our own premises in the village of Althorne, Essex. These incorporate our modern workshops, offices, and onsite parking for our 25strong fleet of coaches and busses.Our team of engineers ensure that all of our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards for safety and peace of mind. We are proud of our enviable reputation with the vehicle inspectorate. Fords Coaches provides vehicles for many schools, groups and clubs around Essex for their day trips, field trips and educational visits. Our double decker coaches allow several classes to be transported on one vehicle.We have specialist vehicles in our fleet suited for large parties of children, which ensures cost effectiveness. Safety is also paramount with all vehicles fitted with seat belts. Because of our size we can provide transport for large parties. We are also one of the few operators of quality double decker coaches in Essex. These offer excellent value per head rather than hiring two coaches.
