The Lions Club of Braintree was chartered in 1979 with 36 members; all wishing to help the less fortunate people within the Braintree Area. Their aims were simple, Community Service, Fundraising to help the less fortunate within the community and further afield,and have fun and fellowship whilst doing it.The Braintree Lions Club has continued to go from strength to strength. And after over 27 years the same aims are still holding true.
