We have been based at Coronation Park, our home ground since 1961. The clubhouse, with bar and catering facilities was built in 1971. The club has four teams on Saturday, in the T. Rippon MidEssex League, two teams on Sunday, one is in the PDQ League and four colts teams in the Central Essex Junior Cricket League, and an under 16 in the Matchplay. We are an England and Wales Cricket Board Clubmark Focus Club which confirms our commitment to being a safe, effective and child friendly cricket club. We have 14 England & Wales Cricket Board Coaches.Springfield Cricket Club is set in the heart of its Local Community, working in conjunction with Chelmsford Borough Council and Essex County Cricket Board.
