Poultons was first established more than 50 years ago by Bert Poulton,We aim to satisfy that purpose and build exactly is required rather than just offer set designs and sizes off the shelf. Most of our orders are for custommade quality buildings, designed for you, individually. We have now redesigned the way that the roof is fitted together to allow additional sections to be added lengthways, thus giving much more adaptability to size. We have also added a sturdier ridge bar that will help prevent roof sag. Our buildings are made by locally skilled craftsmen at each of our sites, quality pine rather than larch or similar short life timbers and to sound methods of construction.Poultons were invited by Dorset Cereals to provide a Green Oak building for their Edible Playground show stand at The Hampton Court Flower Show. The Garden was designed by Nick WilliamsEllis, a previous two time Gold Winner at Chelsea, as part of an initiative to encourage school children to learn more about growing and eating their own vegetables and salads.
