Dave Watson, former MD of Milbank Trucks Ltd and MD of the new company, was responsible, along with his team, for steering the former company to the size and stature it had before it was placed into administration, as a result of the failure of sister company Milbank Floors Ltd due to the decline in the building industry. Because the company was successful in such safe hands, the administrators and banks fully supported a takeover by that same team.
